Ricardo Riquier began his journey in audio engineering at the University of Glamorgan in South Wales in 2004. Now based in Lisbon, he has built a career spanning recording, mixing, live sound and composition, working with some of the most recognised names in Portuguese and Brazilian music.
His studio credits include records by Raquel Tavares, Diogo Piçarra, Orelha Negra, Luís Represas, Fred, Mafalda Veiga, Carolina Deslandes, Dapunksportif, Mallu Magalhães and Marisa Monte. He has also collaborated closely with Brazilian producer Marcelo Camelo, contributing to albums by Tainá, IZA, Gabriel Aragão and Beatriz Pessoa.
Beyond the studio, Ricardo has mixed front-of-house sound for artists including Slow J and Adriana Calcanhotto, as well as internationally acclaimed stand-up comedians Daniel Sloss and Michael McIntyre.
A multi-instrumentalist, producer and composer, Ricardo also creates original music for film and television, with commercial work spanning numerous TV advertising campaigns.
